Prep Guide
How to prep & what to wear
Because your color is custom-mixed to you every visit, a little prep goes a long way toward an even, long-lasting glow.
What to wear
- Loose, dark-colored clothing — think leggings or an oversized tee
- Skip the bra, or wear a strapless one
- Flip-flops or sandals instead of closed-toe shoes
- No tight waistbands, socks, or jewelry that can rub or mark
Before you arrive
- Exfoliate the night before for the most even, longest-lasting color
- Shave or wax at least 24 hours ahead — never same-day
- Skip lotion, deodorant, oils, and makeup on the day of
- Come with clean, bare skin — we'll handle the rest
Aftercare
Do's and don'ts
Tap between the two — a little care after your session keeps your color even and glowing longer.
- Exfoliate 24–48 hours before your appointment
- Shave or wax at least 24 hours prior
- Wear loose, dark, comfortable clothing to your session
- Bring flip-flops or sandals for after
- Moisturize daily starting the day after your tan
- Book a touch-up if your event is more than a week out
